Supporting Student Outcomes with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) is partnering with the Northwest Comprehensive Center (NWCC) to make progress on key priorities defined by the state superintendent. Among the state’s key educational priorities are:
- Equitable access to strong foundations
- Rigorous learner-centered options in every community
Together, NWCC and OSPI are addressing Washington’s state priorities through the following project.
Family Guidance on Learning Standards
NWCC and OSPI are co-creating a comprehensive set of resources to help parents and caregivers understand revised state learning standards. The materials offer guidance on how families can engage with teachers and support student learning at home and in the classroom. By co-creating these resources, OSPI will be equipped to produce high-quality, accessible family engagement and communication tools for future standards revisions.
